Lilly Handmade Chocolates is one of my favorite places in the CLE area. Located in Tremont on Starkweather Ave (right by Lucky’s Cafe), Lilly’s not only offers a wide variety of handcrafted chocolates, but they also have wine and craft beers. The store itself is memorable with the bright and bold pink color, and sophisticated setup. One of the best things about the shop is the friendliness. Every time I have gone in, Amanda (one of the owners) has been nothing but outgoing and excited to have customers coming in. It is great to see people take such pride in their work! And rightfully so, because the chocolates are fantastic.
Here are the names and descriptions of the chocolates shown in the pics I took below, all in which I’d like to note are delicious.
Frou Frou (middle, top row): Sicilian blood orange juice. freeze dried passion fruit. white chocolate.
Lime (right, top row): fresh lime juice. clover honey. white chocolate.
Bob (left, bottom row): drambuie spiked salted caramel. apple cider reduction. milk chocolate.
After Midnight (middle, bottom row): bitter stout. dark chocolate
Red Planet (right, bottom row): dark chocolate. strawberries soaked in Syrah. black pepper red wine reduction. freeze dried raspberry powder.
